Today one of my coworkers blessed me with a wonderful little treat! Since neither of us were very interested in the super bowl, and she had a gift card to one of the nicest restaurants in town, we went on what we like to call a mini vacation.
She asked me to go because recently we have really been working our hineys off at work, and she knew I could use a little fancy in my life.
We went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (which I had never heard of, but is apparently very well known), and I have to say it is the most expensive and fancy restaurant I have ever eaten at times two.
Although I would never actually pay the amount they charge for food, I have to say it was very yummy.
I had the ceasar salad and she had the house salad...
And last, but not least, was cheese cake and dark chocolate wedges topped with almonds and sea salt.
It was nice to have a reason to dress up and have adult conversation.
Thank you "Mrs. Kipp!"

Salmon is one of my favorite foods on the planet, and theirs was exceptionally yummy. |

That's so wonderful that you were able to go out for a "fancy" time! It's great to have good friends who love and care for you in many different ways. It's a beautiful picture of God's love!
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm awarding you a blogging award. Feel free to stop by my blog to see the details.

@ Linda- Thanks mom. I see you remembered your blogger password?
@KEZ- Woohoo! Gonna stop by right now :)
Sounds like a great time. I'm your new follower via {in}courage.
Ruth's Chris?! Wow!!! I've never been there either, but I have heard of it. I'm not really a huge steak fan though, and just the other week my boyfriend and I went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner. Way more our price range, haha. But I got chicken. He could not understand why I would get chicken at a steakhouse! Your food looks delicious though!!
@ Jenny- Thanks! I am subscribing to your posts as well. Your photography is just beautiful!
@Laura- Yeah, my frugality kicked in- the huge piece of salmon was the same price as about 3 bites of steak. I think I like salmon better anyways :)
