You will all be happy to know that today it happened...
As I, Miss Independent, was walking back to my car, a kind stranger from across the parking lot came and asked me if he could help load my 44 pound bag of dog food into my trunk.
And I said yes, please, and thank you.
My faith in Community has been renewed.
And, naturally, I thought he was cute. My knight in shining armor.
Then he called me ma'am
The end.

Did you get his number, Ma'am?!
I am giddy with excitement over this answered prayer, I hope it's the first of many, many, many!!!!!!!!
Ma'am... *giggles*
You are hilarious. He could be THE ONE. If I were you, I'd start going to the grocery store every day, bring your own dog food and put it in a cart, and wait by your car in the event that he sees you again. Your entire future hinges on this!
you are hilarious. but yay!
Haha that is funny! Good job for accepting his help... i don't feel it comes natural to us women anymore! I just stopped by Becca after i got your comment - thank you:) Your blog looks awesome, you are a couple of years ahead:) Nice to meet you too!!
Oh my gosh, that's hilarious. :) Something strange happened this year on my birthday... it's as if 25 is the magic number that transforms you into a 'ma'am'. Not a fan, especially when it's coming from the mouth of a checker at Savemart who I went to high school with. -_-
Gotta love cute, and kind help!
