Praise

I am so thankful to report of good news today about Lorkems. Although I don't have specific information about his home and family yet, I was informed that no children in his project lost their lives in the earthquake. Although I have had an overwhelming peace about his safety, this still calls for a huge sigh of relief.

His project, although has significant damage, was not destroyed. Praise God! In the light of this news I rejoice, but I also remember those families who have lost so many, and the many months and years of struggle ahead for a country that must heal and rebuild.

Please continue to join me in praying for Haiti.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4

March 13, 2010 *Update: I received word today that Lorkems' home was severely damaged. I am not sure if it is too damaged for his family to live in or not, but please join me in praying for his protection and security, as well as strength and comfort in this time of crisis.
